Water Taxis

A water taxi will run between the Stables Pub, Glasgow Road and Southbank Marina at staged times throughout the event. There is a small fee for this service. Please call the Stables 0141 777 6088 for more details.

Train

First Scotrail provides regular trains to Lenzie and Bishopbriggs from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Lenzie station is a 15min walk to the Shuttle Bus at Tom Johnston House: Bishopbriggs town centre is well services by buses running to and from Kirkintilloch.

Bus

First Bus operates fast and reliable services to and from Kirkintilloch town centre from surrounding areas and major locations, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Falkirk

Ring ’n’ Ride Service 600 is designed to serve people and communities who do not currently have a local bus service or have poor public transport links to amenities.

FREE Shuttle Bus (Sunday 30th Only)

FREE buses will be running from Broomhill Car Park, Kilsyth Road and Tom Johnston House Car Park, Lenzie Road into the town centre from 11:30 approx every 15min.

Cycle Parking (Sunday 30th only)

Kelvin Valley District Explorer Scouts are operating secure cycle parking from 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday 30th at the Scout Hall, Regent Street (behind the Regent Centre), Kirkintilloch Town Centre.  

Town Centre parking is very limited. Please use shuttle buses or public transport.
