Glasgow Barnstormers Model Flying Club fly radio controlled model aircraft from their dedicated field just off Birdston Road, Kirkintilloch. The club will be providing a static display of model aircraft in Peel Park and you can also try out your flying skills on the simulator. If you’re interested in becoming involved in the hobby then talk to one of the members who can advise you on equipment and how to join the club. New members are very welcome!

Beginners: Learning to successfully and safely fly model aircraft takes practice and patience therefore beginner flyers are supervised by an instructor at all times learning to fly on a docileaircraft. Once you have mastered the basics and you’re on your own then it’s time to develop your skills further and the options and thrills are limitless! Helicopters, Jets, a Spitfire, it’s up to you!
