Mr Chipping’s Tragical History Tour of Kirkintilloch

Thursday 24 August, 6:30 – 7:30pm – Free
Leaves from Barleybank Carpark

Take a journey back in time.  Back through the mists of history to when Kirkintilloch had traffic lights. A journey that will give you the untold – until now – story of the ‘Fort at the end of the Hill’.  And why The Fort is now in Easterhouse. The story of the night the world’s greatest music star visited the town. And the unique place Kirkintilloch has in the history of drive thru’ food.  The guided walk will last about an hour.
