Edd’s Heads Caricatures

Edd's CaricaturesAlso joining us at the Canal Festival this year will be local, award winning professional caricaturist Edd Travers aka ‘Edd’s Heads Caricatures’ who will be drawing FREE caricatures of visitors to the event!

Edd will be located at the Marina on Sunday, 1 September and will be drawing from 1.00pm until 3.00p.m.

Edd’s Heads Caricatures are always extremely popular at the Canal Festival so get down early to avoid disappointment!

Please note –  Edd’s drawings are free on the day and he’s bound to be very busy, so it’s strictly one person per drawing. No couples or family groups please. It’s individuals only, in order to keep things fast moving, fair and fun for all!

All aboard!

The ‘crew’ that built the boat are welcome to attend the launch of the skiff at the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival with support of the EDC Outdoor Education team. Longer term the Council will use the skiff as part of its outdoor education work, getting school pupils out on to the Canal. The skiff will be particularly beneficial for those with mobility issues, enabling safe and inclusive access to the Canal.
